Ekaterinburg History Museum

Nowadays the museum is located in ex manor owned by high-ranking officer Kachka. The building and outbuilding represents one of the few classical architectural ensembles preserved to this day. The unique design of the interior piece together the Past and the Present, original exhibit and delicate scenery. The basement level of the building with illuminate fountain and ancient furniture tells legends and fables about subterranean Ekaterinburg. Hi-tech decoration creates a mysterious atmosphere. The Grand stairs passes in review to the first floor for photopanorame of the city. It was made in the end of XIX by V.L. Metenkov. The journey through the ancient streets continues in exposition "Town. Time. The old house.". It introduces at once the history of the former manor and the way of life in Ekaterinburg for three centuries. Exhibition openings, concerts, state receptions take place on "The City Watch Square". Reinstated masonry, stained glasses and minstrels' gallery reminds about real age of manor's walls and creates solemn atmosphere in the main hall of the museum.

Tickets: Adults: 150 rubles, Pensioners: 80 rubles, Students - Free, Family (2 adults + 2-1 children) - 300 rubles.

Tours: Adults (individual visits/organized group of 15 people) - 300 rubles, Adults (organized group of 16 to 25 people) - 500 rubles, students - 300 rubles, walking/bus tours of the city - 600 rubles/hour
